Flor Huybens is a Antwerp based photographer. Being a co founder of the music centre ‘volta’ he feels very comfortable in the music scene. Surrounded by musicians he found himself intrigued by all the rituals they have. The preparation, the soundcheck, the focus and of course the show.
Not only musicians find themselves as the subjects of his pictures but also other performers. As a theatre technician Flor develops and runs theatre and circus performances. Different rituals, same focus.
He mainly shoots analogue or digital with an analogue style
